An interesting ancient photo of Qing Dynasty is very popular in many forums recently. The photo shows a Chinese woman is sitting on a chair at a garden and her 2-meter tall husband in Chinese traditional costume of Qing Dynasty is standing beside her. Standing behind the couple is a man wearing glasses and western costume.

But what surprised the netizens is the appearance of the 2-meter tall man (6 feet 6), who looks like NBA’s star Yao Ming (7 ft 6 in (2.29 m)). This photo was taken in 1870, more than 100 years before Yao Ming was born. Is it possible today’s Yao Ming was reincarnation of that 2-meter Qing Dynasty’s man in the photo?

Another man in this picture above was said to be the tallest Chinese man Zhan Shi-cha in 19 century’s Qing Dynasty. The picture rumored to be taken around 1880 in Hong Kong.

Another picture surfaced was said to be his house, which the door was extremely high, more than 3-metre.

According to the historical archives, there was a Chinese man named Zhan Shi-cha who was born in 1841 in Wu Yuan of Jiangxi; the record also shows he was a tall man but no official record of his height.

If the story is true, then Zhan was definitely taller than the existing world’s tallest man record holder who is 2.57 metres height.
