















Due West: Our Sex Journey describes the internal struggle of a young person seeking “love” and “lust” in contemporary society of Hong Kong. The film reflects the reason why men head North to Mainland to seek pleasure and the general problems exist among Hong Kong girls. It also focuses on the intricate conflict of the two-sided coin of love – affection and lust.
Frankie is brought up in a strict middle class family. His mother is a Discipline Officer at a girls’ college, while his father is an observant Public Servant. Frankie lives a disciplined life, somewhat monotonous and boring.Frankie, like any other adolescence, is curious about sex during puberty; most parents avoid talking about the issue, especially in a family as observant as his.
Set on exploring this curiosity, Frankie and his only high school friend, Jing, go on a camping trip with some school friends. Following a dissapointing experience, Frankie decides to complete his studies in the U.S. - where his luck with the ladies is sadly stagnant.
Time flies by, Frankie returns to Hong Kong where a series of events lead to him being caught between Celia and Zeta; his physical and spiritual matches. Love or lust - what will be Frankie's final decision?
