Now this is how watching a movie should be done. This absolutely jaw dropping scenery is located in the rocky shoreline of Yao Noi, Thailand.
The Archipelago Cinema is part of an event designed by Ole Scheeren and organized by Film on the Rocks Yao Noi, which took place from 9th-13th March 2012.
It was set to become an annual meeting place for art and film but unfortunately I am thinking everybody was eaten by sharks, cause so far nothing has been set for 2013
Using tyres and the rafts of local fishermen, Scheerens workers wait for low tide to set up a projector and large screen in time for the showing that evening. After the film festival concluded, the rafts were given back to the fisherman and life as usual went on in the small villages of the region.
Only question is, there better be popcorn, and where the hell is the washroom?
10/10 would watch Samuel L Jackson get eaten again.
