Honda Air Concept
Hondas entry for the 2010 Design Challenge is the Air concept, a lightweight vehicle that uses alternative fuel, all while boasting an aggressive look inspired by, oddly enough, roller coasters and skydiving wing suits. So, we guess thats why its called the Air concept.
In any case, the Air uses a compressed air and pneumatic regulator system that uses turbo vacuums and external air-flow to regenerate the tanks pressure system, ensuring that the vehicle has extended range and increased boost to last an estimated 100 miles. Anytime you need to have your tanks and reserves refilled efficiently, a Honda generator and air compressor does the trick, either from the comforts of your own home or at a local station.

Industrial design students at the Seoul National University of Technology, Ju Ho Young and Kim Sung Uk, have tried to incorporate the latest in solar panel technology in a zero-emission car powered by electricity. Solar-powered cars are nothing new for us, but the technology the designers of the Solas have tried to use does seem promising and market ready.
The body of the car is made of transparent material, which allows sunlight to reach the solar panels mounted along the inner surface of the cars body. The inner solar panels consist of individual solar cells, which are made of light amplified material, making them more efficient.
These cells are then placed on a hexagonal structure, which not only makes the system efficient but also minimizes the damage caused in case of a collision. These cells fuel a pack of on-board batteries, which power the electric motors incorporated in the wheels of the car. The Nike ONE is a hypothetical high-performance vehicle/concept car that was developed by the athletic wear company Nike and Polyphony Digital. This vehicle is featured in the Gran Turismo 4 video game for the Sony PlayStation 2.
This vehicle resembles a moon buggy with a maximum speed of 230 miles per hour (370 km/h) and an eight-gear automatic transmission. However, the top speed of 230 miles per hour can only be achieved by drivers in their physical peak (those who exercise between 60 minutes and 120 minutes per day). The fictional timeline of this vehicle would see its origins in the year 2022 with the invention of a wearable generator by the Nike Sports Research Lab. Peugeot Magnet, designed by Tolga Metin from the United States, is one of the 29 finalists at the 5th Peugeot Design Contest. This years competition theme is imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megalopolis of tomorrow. Metins Peugeot Magnet concept is based on magnetic energy as it is inspired by magnetic (maglev) trains. The concept offers an environmentally friendly car with a sustainable design.
Peugeot Magnets outer wheels, formed of two eccentric cylindrical parts, do not touch the inner hubs of the wheels, and are made of synthetic foam.Both the inner hubs and the inner part of the outer cylinder, contain same pole magnetic tubes which derives their electromagnetic force from the electrical engine.
Thanks to the same polarity magnetic field, when driving, the inner hubs elevate, ultimately causing the car to float several centimeters above the ground. The inner hubs also act as suspensions if the car passes any bumps in the road. The idea of this concept has start after the designer find out that people were asking about the importance of the hybrid cars and also that people were asking what is Efficient Dynamics so he wanted to answer at those questions by making this concept.
The car has a highly personalized front to provide better aerodynamics, the two large nostrils on each side of the inlet for cooling motor, so that they function to maximize efficiency.
