Danielle Lei may only be 13, but she just executed one of the cleverest business strategies of all time.
As a Girl Scout, Danielle was looking to raise funds for her troop, through the infamous annual cookie sale. Pictured here, Danielle stands proudly beside her arsenal of Lemonades, Thin Mints, and Caramel deLites.
Instead of going door-to-door, Danielle and her mother posted up shop outside of The Green Cross, a marijuana dispensary in the heart of San Francisco.
In just 2 hours, Danielle sold an astonishing 117 boxes of cookies. Thats essentially one box every minute.
Her mother Carol couldn`t be prouder. "You put it in terms that they may understand," Carol said. "I`m not condoning it, I`m not saying go out in the streets and take marijuana [...] It also adds a little bit of cool factor. I can be a cool parent for a little bit." You have to wonder if other scouts will start picking up on this savvy girl`s business tactics. Great job supporting your local girl scouts, Danielle!
