Top leading Hong Kong actors doubted with HIV positive

The Three Weekly recently reported that a leading Hong Kong actor, known as “Mr. Y,” had sex with over 100 women and was confirmed to be a HIV victim.

“Mr. Y” was described as being handsome and the star of many popular TV dramas and a couple of hit movies.

A lot of guessing games are going on and some websites jumped to the conclusion that Shawn Yue is the actor in question. However. Shawn Yue has strenuously denied he is the “bisexual actor with AIDS.”

“At the beginning I thought this was just boring gossip, but now I realize the situation has spun out of control,” Shawn wrote on his microblog.

“A website directly said I’m the person. It’s really immoral and irresponsible. Those who mongered the rumor, do you know how much damage these untruthful reports cause on an artiste?” he said. (via maydaily.com and 3weekly.com)
