BeoVision 4-103 103in Plasma from Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen has announced plans to add a 103in model to its BeoVision 4-series TVs. Called the BeoVision 4-103, the set packs the same panel as inside the Panasonic TH-103PF9; after all who else could supply such panels? The surrounding package is a little different, though.

Obviously the same 1,920 x 1,080 resolution is present, but the image processing comes courtesy B&W's own BeoSystem 3 and VisionClear technology. Apparently tweaks include automatic re-calibration of colours and brightness every 120 hours of use - just to make sure everything is still okay.

As this accompanying video shows, the TV is set on a stand which rises when turned on to reveal a loudspeaker. Sure, it's a gimmick but if I were spending around €100,000 on a television that's exactly the kind of pointless but cool feature I'd want!

Awesome stand aside, given they use the same panel, the choice between the B&O and Panasonic set seems to come down to whether B&O's audio kit is also of interest. That and UK pricing once the BeoVision 4-103 is available in July.

I dont know if you guys ever seen a phone which can turn 180 degree, but the JinPeng does.  The JinPeng A888 looks a bit like the Nokia N93i. It is a TV mobile phone that comes with 180 degrees rotary 2.6-inch touch screen, 1.3-megapixel camera, dual SIM slot, Bluetooth, integrated MP3 and MP4 player, radio, and microSD slot.  I dont really like the dock where they use to  turn the screen, it's quite thick but I guess, without it JinPeng can not be turned.. This is a very tiny TV huh!  See more pictures of JinPeng
