Miss Thailand World 2011 is Half Thai and Half British
A tall (1.78m) half-Thai, half-Brit 20 year old was crowned Miss Thailand World 2011 during the finals last weekend. Pacharida “Julie” Rodkongka will now be her country’s official delegate to Miss World 2011 to be held in London, England on November 6.
The statuesque Fashion Design student – proudly trilingual being fluent in Thai, English and Spanish – wowed everyone during the national competition, especially during the final Q&A when she reiterated that she joined the contest to prove everyone wrong that she is just a tall, fat, and plain-looking girl and promised to work harder if she wins the crown.

Rebecca Zhu Won Miss Hong Kong 2011
Rebecca Zhu was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2011 on August 7, 2011 at TBV City. Rebecca is 23 year old and stands 5’6”. She will probably represent Hong Kong China in Miss World 2011 and Miss Chinese International 2011 Pageant.
The first runner-up was Hyman Chu. The second runner-up was Whitney Hui. Miss International Goodwill is Nicole Leung. Whitney Hui also won the Miss Photogenic Award.

Miss Thailand World 2011 will be held on August 13, 2011. 30 finalists will be vying for the crown. The winner will represent Thailand in Miss World 2011 pageant, and the Runner-up who has beautiful Chinese complextion will be selected to participate in Miss International 2011 in China.
The reigning Miss Thailand World is Sirirat Rueangsri, who was crowned on August 14, 2010 in Bangkok by Pongchanok Kanklab, Miss Thailand World 2009. The winner will be the representative for Miss Thailand at the Miss World 2010 pageant
